Introduction by Jimmy Flemion

Song 22 off of our LP "Racially Yours", is "You're A Bigot". It was written on December 12, 1989. There is no finger pointing going on here, but rather my point of view here is that people of this type of caliber exist. Life goes on, it happens everyday. Regardless what you may think of them, it is their path that needs adjusting and calls out for remedy. It is them and those who pretend to be other than what they are, who need to own up to their own true nature.<br&>

Here now you got your big lyrics for "You're A Bigot" :<br&>

You hurt me<br&> Be big about it<br&> Yeah, you destroyed my character<br&> Be big about it<br&>

Yeah yeah yeah yeah you're a bigot<br&> Yeah yeah yeah yeah you're the only one<br&> Yeah yeah yeah yeah you're a bigot<br&> Out to have some fun at my expense<br&>

You're cast out<br&> Be big about it<br&> Castrated with barbed wire<br&> Be big about it<br&>

My feelings are the only ones that matter<br&> My healings will stop all your chatter<br&>

The chord progression for the verses is : B minor / B minor (G in bass) / B minor (G b in bass) / B minor (E in bass). The chord progression for the chorus is : D Major / G Major / A Major / B minor / D Major / G Major / A Major / G b Major. The chord progression for the middle eight is : E minor / D Major / C Major / B Major. At the end of the middle eight, as the chord ends on B Major and in turn morphs into a B minor to start the verse, the magical pain spell is cast and sadness rains down on the title character, so caught up in how hurt he is.<br&>

You hurt me. Stick and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. Why didn't I, I didn't think of this. Until I got hurt, 'til I got hurt, I didn't know what love is. Cat Stevens is one of my favorites. Incredible singer-songwriter, guitar player. We have traveled pain and love to call ourselves high born. Be big about it. Grow up. Get over it. Yeah you destroyed my character. Silly boy, you self-destroyer. Slander my name all over the place, do anything that you wanna do, but uh uh honey lay off of my shoes, don't you step on my blue suede shoes, you can do anything but lay off of my blue suede shoes. Sow a thought, reap an act, sow an act, reap a habit, sow a habit, reap a character, sow a character, reap a destiny. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah you're a bigot. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah you're the only one. Legend has it that Rollo, the first duke of Normandy, refused to kiss the foot of the French king Charles III, uttering the phrase bi got, his borrowing of the assumed old English equivalent of our expression by god. There is more than one out there, understandably they exist, so the mere mention of the line, "You're the only one" was intentionally tongue in cheek. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah you're a bigot. Out to have some fun at my expense. There are bullies who by their very nature, purposely push people's buttons. You're cast out. And East of Eden, mama he was cast. All the flowers that you planted mama, in your backyard, all died when you went away. Be big about it. As Shirley Manson of Garbage once said to me, "It's time to be a man, Jimmyfrog". Castrated with barbed wire. A bit drastic. For those in the dominatrix field or in the business of hurting, karma is a boomerang, it will come back to you. Peg, it will come back to you. Be big about it. Work through it. Work it girl. And when you smile for the camera, I know I'll love you better. My feelings are the only ones that matter, my healings will stop all your chatter. The hurt one, caught up in how people easily get to him, realizes by healing himself, and not getting caught up, this in turn will put an abrupt end to the smack talk chatter. And he thought of those he hurt, for he was not a cruel man, and he thought of those he frightened, for he was not an evil man, and he understood, he understood himself, upon this he saw that when he was of anger or knew hurt or felt fear, it was because he was not understanding, and he learned, compassion, and with his eye of compassion, he saw his enemies like unto himself, and he learned love, then, he was answered.<br&>

The track "You're A Bigot", contains acoustic guitar and vocals by myself and drums and backing vocals by Dennis.<br&>
