Am I sorry I'm white No. Sometime before my present birth, I agreed to this look. As Popeye once told me, I am what I am. Reverse racism does exist, last time I checked. To quote the spiritual Beatle, It doesn't really matter what clothes I wear, or how I fare, or if my hair is brown. My favorite song with sorry in it's title is, Sorry Seems to Be The Hardest Word by Elton John (a.k.a. Reginald Dwight). The emotional beauty of the song is spellbinding. Madman Across The Water by Elton John was one of the first albums I ever bought in 1971. There was a tape that no longer exists of me singing Tiny Dancer off of that album back then when I was 11. The singing or talking as it sounded like, was one of my first vocals recorded on tape and was by all accounts flat on every note attempted. Between 1971 and 1975, I bought all of Elton's albums (except Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only The Piano Player) up until and including Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy. I think he is underated as one of the best songwriters ever. For Elton to be able to work off the page and poems of Bernie Taupin and to interpret and put all the meaning and feeling of his music and melodies in his songs to make them come to life is an amazing feat.br&
