The second song on the album "Racially Yours", is a song called "Holidays 4 King". The original title was "No More Holidays For King", and Dennis later shortened the title to "Holidays 4 King". It was written in the living room on piano on March 20, 1990. The lyrics read :<br&>

Lyrics

I will wear this chain and ball with pride<br&> Still there will be no more holidays<br&> No more holidays for King<br&>

Where is Lincoln when you need him?<br&> He's not around<br&> He's underground somewhere<br&>

I will shove this spade in the dirt with pride<br&> Still there will be no more holidays<br&> No more holidays for King<br&>

Where is Lincoln when you need him?<br&> He's not around<br&> He's underground somewhere<br&>

Still there will be no more holidays<br&> No more holidays for King<br&>

As with all songs they are open for interpretation, and since this album was not written in advance with a storyboard in mind as a concept album, I will offer one interpretation. Understand though, when I do write songs, I do not stop and edit and imagine and attatch different meanings to songs as I go along while I am writing them. Come to think of it, I have no interpretation. As The Moody Blues once sang, "I've said my peace and I leave it all up to you".<br&>
